Founded in 1897 by Victor Magnien, transmitted to Félix, then Jean-Paul, Stéphane is now working to reveal these Burgundy terroirs. Since the very first generation, the vines have never known a weedkiller; horse and now tractor have made it possible, while preserving the life of soil organisms, to force the roots of vine plants to descend deeper in order to obtain a great typicality of climates.
The picking, always manual, animates the harvest and follows traditional vinification. Aging for 14 to 18 months according to the A.O.C is done in oak barrels. In general, thier wines are neither fined nor filtered, to preserve the integrity of a product which motivate them throughout its life.
