Since taking over the estate in 1985, Yves Gras has been very involved in the cultivation of the estate's vines. Through hard work, he succeeded in propelling the Domaine de Santa Duc to the forefront of the Gigondas appellation. Known as the best winegrower in the appellation, Yves Gras has maintained its leadership position since 1995 and stands out for the balance, body and elegance of its wines. Located at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the Vaucluse, the Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Cinsault grape varieties are cultivated in biodiversity, with gentleness, meticulousness and rigour, on two types of soils: marl with limestone elements from the Cretaceous or poor soils with stony red clays from the Quaternary. The combination of these contrasting terroirs produces balanced, concentrated and generous wines.

In the mouth, I have a lot of density, fruit, spices, salty flavours, round and supple tannins, with a balanced acidity and bitterness. |

I go very well with red meats in sauce or grilled. I am suitable for roast game, stewed red meats, Moroccan tagines and classic bistro fare such as rabbit or duck confit |
