Uffe is a Danish winemaker based in a shed in McLaren Vale, South Australia. Producing natural wines from Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. Natural fermentation, no additives and minimal/no use of sulphur.
What is Poppelvej?
Poppelvej (pronounced pop-el-vei) is the name of the street in Denmark where our winemaker Uffe grew up. Vej is the Danish word for street and poppel træ is Danish for poplar tree.
