Jacques Audras brings French winemaking savoir-faire to the Australian Context, using quality Australian fruit, the winemaking and quality of fruits speak for itself. All of Jacques’ wines rely upon minimal use of oak and as natural a process as possible.
Now in his third Shiraz vintage, and having also produced a Riesling and a Chardonnay, all utilising McLaren Vale grapes, Jacques is steadily building up an exclusive gamme of quality wines which are not able to be found anywhere else.
The noise is floral and fruity with elderflower, honeysuckle aromas followed with pear drop ripe white peach, butter, puff-pastry and a bit of frangipani and baked apple. On the palate it is a dry white wine and very fruity also with flavors of ripe peach, with a sharp acidity expressed with lemon, lime zest and apples. The finish has some Mirabelle Plum with a bit of phenolic characters which give some pleasant astringency.
