The Story of the Family/strong>
The vineyard is situated about 20 km away from the Domaine Populus Alba, near Saint-Emilion. Château Cazette has been a family property since 1970. It was at this time that Jonathan Banier’s grandfather, the current winemaker, moved to Massugas, southeast of Bordeaux. The vines, with an average age of 25 years, are planted with the traditional grape varieties of Bordeaux wines.
