Taste: Lively bright brambly fruit, aromatic fresh garden spices, all embraced among elegant oak, silky smooth tannin and vibrant balanced shiraz fruit pleasing structure and length.

This Shiraz was closely monitored to ensure optimum harvest time. Fermented in a small open fermenter for 10 days. Cap managed twice daily to extract full flavour. A mix of French and American oak was chosen to mature this fine wine and achieve balance oak and tannin. The wine is glorious upon release and will develop even greater complexity with cellaring for up to 10 years.
The 2018 Barossa Vintage conditions were very favourable with timely winter rainfalls. This allowed good yields with high quality. The season ended calmly, resulting in a balanced end to harvest.
